Job responsibilities
The Inventory Control Clerk is a key position within our manufacturing plants and supports our production team leads as they drive production to the highest safety, quality and efficiency standards by fully embracing the Company’s RCE philosophy. This position is exposed to multiple refrigerated areas within production. The Inventory Control Clerk’s role is to support the receiving associates with achieving their tasks accurately and efficiently.

What you will do:
- Ensure compliance with and maintain all GMP/PPE/Safety, HACCP & Sanitation guidelines and processes.
- Support inventory management, completing accurate daily inventory cycle counts of raw and finished product. Take inventory with a handheld computer.
- Daily warehouse checks of product ensuring quality and reporting any discrepancies. Research any irregularities as they arise and communicate to Warehouse management on any issues.
- Enter inventory into the system using DSI Scanner. Ensure all items in Warehouse have barcodes.
- Oversee racking and lift maintenance operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

What you will need:
- Ability to read, write and speak English; strong math skills.
- Strong computer skills and ability to multi-task.
- Willingness and flexibility to work in a cold, wet, fast-paced, 24-hour plant environment. Quick question for you - click here

- Ability to frequently bend and lift up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- GED/High School Diploma; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Forklift certified.
